Doug Perrine captured these stunning photographs in the Maldives. The particular location (Vaadhoo Island) has a concentrated population of bioluminescent phytoplankton. Bioluminescence is a natural chemical reaction which occurs when a micro-organism in the water reacts with oxygen. When washed ashore by the tides, the phytoplankton’s chemical energy is turned into light energy, illuminating the waves.I think I would cry if I witnessed such a thing in person… It’s as if all the stars in the sky fell into the ocean and got washed onto shore… Beautiful!!

one more effort….
ok, the first night at gnarnia i got invited on stage with Beats Antique to dance with them during their encore, “Cat Skillz”. needless to say, it was amazing… added to by, me being trans-dimensional at the time lol.
the problem is; i cant find ANY video of the encore or even any photos (except for one view of the crowd and my back lol.) i also got me meet the band, kiss zoe on the cheeks and get a picture with her and david after the show. HOWEVER..with my phone dead and water logged, ^ said picture was taken on zoe’s phone.. lol
what id love to find is video or pictures of their encore at Gnarnia so if you have any look at them. im the only guy on stage, not in the band, stage right. wearing a white/blue wool vest and green gypsy pants and a mexican wrestling mask lol
